The UK has no mandate to interfere in others countries affairs. Nor them in ours.

There's no mandate but we do have foreign policies you know and we've also been known to deploy diplomacy and the military to enforce such policies on others.

Anyway, I wasn't suggesting regime change where the new government will be composed of people with all the answers i.e. us lot.

I was thinking more about how we could be a good friend and maybe encourage a better outcome.

The bottom line is that if you have many sovereign tribes down a river the river can't be managed well to everyone's advantage. Hence China.

Currently we have global problems but only national solutions and until sovereignty is shared in a sensible way, we'll never be able to globally outlaw or properly tax or limit anything.

Natiionalism is no answer to any of the problems we face.

We can keep a nation state but it needs to cooperate in a pre pledged way with all the others, otherwise we might all be toast, literally.

Europe may fail but it will always need to be rebuilt.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.
