Recieving Client Payments from USA

Hi,
I have a small part-time design business with clients mainly in the States (this is to avoid conflicts of interest with possible clients in my day job). I have been using paypal for years to recieve payment from them, out of habit more than anything else.
I always feel like I am getting ripped off and so have looked into other ways of getting paid. I am currently looking at Currency Fair and Transferwise and was wondering if anyone has experience with them or better alternatives. They all seem to do essentially the same thing and all claim to be the cheapest option!
Any advice would be greatly recieved! (Sorry if this in the wrong sub!)
Thanks in advance.

You could open a dollar bank account and get paid into this instead0

Revolut have good rates, and are setting up that you can hold an effective USD bank account at the moment (still pending - but GBP bank accounts are ready)0

Have you looked at Stripe. It's easy to get started and they'll transfer the money to your U.K. account.0

Be careful of the above post. First time poster, no reputation on here, recommending a company I've never dealt with.
Transferwise is my choice, however suggestions by others may offer something similar and may offer better value for money.💙💛 💔0
