Dodgy Cooker Wiring

I applied for a new cooker through EON Energy Grant and it was delivered and fitted today. He showed it me working and I signed the paper work.
After he had gone, I noticed a screw on the floor. When I looked at it, it was the was of the terminal screws on the wall socket, where the cooker is wired into.
I moved the cooker out, to have a look at the wiring and noticed an earth cable off cut on the floor along with the cord grip.
I took the top off the socket and noticed that the earth had not been connected.
I was due for work shortly afterwards, gave the delivery company a ring and a piece of my mind.
They rang me back later and asked if I had photos, which I emailed off to them. They offered me an appointment tomorrow to reinstall the cooker, told them not to bother, as I do not trust them.
Got back home and wired it in properly.
Not sure if I can mention the name of the company, but one heck of a bunch of cowboys.
