Speeding fine, pay or not pay?

Almost 1.5 months later after I had holiday in Molljorca, Spain, I received a letter from Direccion General de Trafico ( I assume the similar organisation as DVLA in U.K. ), stating the vehicle I rented was driven a 108km/h on a road with speed limit of 90 km/h, a car image was attached. A fine of 100 Euros has been requested.
The contents are all in Spanish except payment section with English version on it.
My questions is what the consequence would be if I do not pay the fine?

Maybe Interpol will come-a-knocking on your door .....
Seriously - Don't know I'm afraid0 -
I assume you mean Majorca (Mallorca), and also assume you hired a car on the island
Direccion General de Trafico would have got your info from the car rental company who told them you were the driver.
If not paid, I am unsure if further entry could flag up the ticket.
Spanish authorities are pretty hot
You have to decide whether to pay the fime and have done with it
At least you will not get points on your licence either way0 -
I have had this in the USA if it did not pay, I was told by their embassy, I could have been arrested on re,entry to the USA. If you don't want hassle when you go to Spain in the future it is best to pay up.:beer:0
