Old Congestion Charge

I have today received a letter Marston High Court Enforcement Officer apparently relating to an unpaid congestion charge from 30/11/2009 (Yes 2009) they say I owe £185 + Compliance stage fee of £75.
I had never been to London in the accused Vehicle and doubt whether it would have even made it to London. I think it may have been an old courtesy car we had to loan to customers but really struggling to remember ! Surely 7 Years is a bit late to suddenly decide someone owes you money ! This is the first correspondence about this.

What is this 'we' are you talking about a private company that lends out cars, or is it a personal vehicle that may have been lent out at some time?From the Plain Language Commission:

You definitely need to consult Bailiff Advice Online. You may have to act to set aside a CCJ against your company, then defend.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
