The General Terms and Conditions for KLM UK Planes Game, a promotional Draw by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
Information about the Draw and the Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the KLM UK Planes Game (hereafter referred to as the App). The App can be accessed from the official KLM UK Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/klmuk/), directly via (https://apps.facebook.com/klmplanesgame/) or (https://www.klmplanesgame.com/mplanes/), the official KLM UK Twitter Page (https://twitter.com/KLM_UK) or directly via (https://www.klmplanesgame.com/klm_tw/) and is organised by KLM UK. Participants automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions.
• KLM reserves the right to adapt these conditions, prize, definitions or other information, or to cancel the App, at any time without any form of prior announcement.
• Two Winners will be selected at random to win one (1) pair of tickets each on return flights operated by KLM from the UK to Amsterdam. "A pair of tickets" means that each Winner will receive two economy class return tickets (a pair) as described below.
• There will be one Winner per prize draw
• Booking for both tickets to be made by 30 October 2017.
• Travel must be completed by 10 December 2017.
• Travel is subject to availability. Book early to avoid disappointment.
• Each Winner will be drawn at random from all the entries received.
• The Winner and the user of the other ticket in the pair, must depart from any of the 17 KLM UK departure airports. If the Winner (or the other named passenger) starts their journey outside of the UK to reach a KLM UK airport, they will assume all responsibility to arrange all the necessary transport to the UK by themselves, and at their own cost.
• Participants must be at least eighteen years of age at the time they enter and must be UK residents.
• KLM reserves the right to require written proof of a Winner’s residence and age before awarding a prize.
• KLM has the right to reject any entry that does not meet these Terms and Conditions.
• KLM cannot be held responsible for problems with networks, computer hardware or software, or any breakdown or failure that results in the Participant’s entry or any other information becoming incomplete, damaged or lost.
• All decisions made by KLM regarding the App shall be considered final and will not be the subject of any correspondence. No appeals are permissible.
• Entries for the first prize draw will take place between Wednesday 25 January 2017 and Tuesday 7 February 2017 23.59PM GMT.
• Entries for the second prize draw will take place between Wednesday 8 February 2017 and Tuesday 28 February 2017 23.59PM GMT.
Information about Participation:

By entering this prize draw participants have a chance to win a pair of return tickets to Amsterdam. There are two pairs of tickets to be won, by two unique winners.
The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
All entries must be submitted through KLM UK’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/klmuk/) and KLM UK’s Twitter Account (https://twitter.com/KLM_UK).
To be entered into the prize draw, the user must complete level 1 of KLM Planes Game and register their details. To complete the level, the user must pilot their plane to ‘eat’ at least 10 Stroofwafel.
For every level completed, the user gains one entry into the prize draw. There are 4 levels in total. To complete level 2, the user must ‘eat’ 20 burgers. To complete level 3, the user must ‘eat’ 40 noodle bowls. Completing level 3 will unlock ‘Retro Mode’. To complete ‘Retro Mode’ the user must navigate the snake to ‘eat’ 50 dots.
There is no limit as to how many times a user can enter.
The user is invited to share their score on Facebook or Twitter for an extra entry. Each share gains the user an additional entry into the draw.
Information about the prizes and how they will be awarded:

• By participating into the App, participants authorise KLM UK to publically announce his or her name via our Social Media channels.
• Participants agree and consent to their personal data being collected during this promotion - and if opted in to receive newsletters - to their information being retained by KLM UK under the terms of its privacy policy for marketing purposes in the future, agreeing to receive marketing information concerning KLM flights and services.
• The Winner will be responsible for any taxes, costs and other expenses that are not explicitly included in or connected to the prize (transport to and airport parking, travel documents, travel insurance, etc.), and he or she agrees to accept the prize entirely at his or her own risk and responsibility.
• The App (including these Terms and Conditions) is subject to English law and the English Courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
Miscellaneous

• KLM’s general privacy policy applies to all information received. KLM’s privacy policy conditions are available at www.klm.com under Privacy Policy.
• By continuing to use this App, you thereby give consent to be re-targeted with key messaging relevant to this promotion from klm.com and the associated sub-domains.
• KLM reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions, prizes, definitions and any other information, or to cancel this App at any time without prior notification.
• Employees of KLM and any of its associated companies or marketing companies, as well as members of their families, are excluded.
• KLM reserves the right to disqualify entries that it suspects of being fraudulent.
• The code of conduct for small promotional games of chance applies to this game.
• Participation in the App is voluntary. By entering, all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any associated entry requirements. Any breach of these terms and conditions by a participant will void their entry. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry. KLM accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.
• Claiming Prize. An e-mail containing a prize letter will be sent to each Winner to confirm the prize. This letter will contain information about how to claim the prize. KLM reserves the right, due to acts of nature or reasons beyond their control, to change the type of prize in the course of the prize draw or to replace the prize with a different prize of equal value. Under no circumstances shall this alternative lead to replacement or refund. Personal data gathered for the purpose of this prize draw will be handled in confidence in line with the Data Protection Act (see data protection at KLM.com and KLM's privacy policy).
• Liability and Applicable Law. Judges’ decision is final. The liability of KLM is limited exclusively to the value of the prize. KLM shall not be held liable for possible disruption to Internet services or related links occurring due to unpermitted data sharing or illegal acts, which in turn result in disruptions of administrative procedures and security and organization of the prize draw. KLM shall also not be held liable for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletion or loss of e-mails. KLM shall be held liable for neither Internet congestion, equipment quality of the Internet user, quality of Internet connection nor transfer delays resulting from this. The law of England and Wales applies to this promotion and to these Terms and Conditions.
• Each of the two (2) prize offerings available to be won include one pair of Economy Class return tickets to Amsterdam from any UK airport that offers KLM Royal Dutch Airlines operated flights. Prize includes flight taxes. Tickets are subject to availability.
• Each return ticket must be used together - both passengers must travel together on the outbound and return sectors. One of the passengers must be the prize winner. An adult must accompany any children or infant.
• KLM is not responsible for transfers to or from the airports, accommodation or any other travel expense.
• Booking must be made at least 28 days before the preferred date of travel.
• No extension of the dates is allowed from the specified in these Conditions.
• No change of companion, names, travel dates or any other detail in the tickets is allowed once these have been issued.
• Tickets are Economy Class non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be substituted for any other prize or cash value.
• Income taxes (if any) paid on the value of this prize, or any other applicable surcharges, shall be the responsibility of the winner, parent or legal guardian.
• Winning tickets are excluded from the Flying Blue programme. Winners who are members of this programme, including those who accompany them, may not accrue Miles for the prize flights.
• Winner must be over the age of 18 with a valid passport to travel (valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date for the trip).
• Winner and accompanying persons must obtain all visas, permissions and other documentation required.
• KLM is not liable for the costs of obtaining the correct entry documents.
• Travel is subject to availability.
• All travel is subject to KLM’s standard terms and conditions of carriage.
• No extension of the prize will be allowed from the date specified in the Prize letter.
• The Winner must confirm receipt of Prize offer within 7 days of notification. In case the Winner has not claimed the Prize within the indicated timeframe, a new Winner will be drawn (without further notification) and advised accordingly.
• KLM cannot be held responsible if a prize Winner or any of the travelling party fail to obtain the required travel documentation before the selected departure date.
• The prize Winner and accompanying person are responsible for and must comply with any health advice/regulations/inoculations or security precautions required. Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the prize Winner.
• KLM reserves the right to request written proof of residency and the age of any Winner before the prize is dispatched.
• For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include gratuities, spending money or other travel expenses, or any other costs of a personal nature.
• KLM will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
• In the event for any reason the prize Winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by KLM then the prize will be forfeited by the Winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of the prize.
• If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of KLM which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, KLM may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.
• If the performance of the flights is affected by weather, flight delay, strike or other events of force majeure beyond the control of KLM, KLM may cancel, terminate or revise the date and timing of the flights without any liability to the Winner and accompanying person.
• If the winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of the prize will be randomly selected.
• KLM reserves the right to publish the First name and Surname of the Winner, plus their location on the above mentioned Social Media channels, without such use giving rise to any rights other than that of the prize won.
• Winner must depart from one of KLM’s UK departure points (Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Durham Tees Valley, Inverness, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Humberside, Leeds Bradford, London Heathrow, London City, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich and Southampton).
