Where to move weddings savings too?

Partner and I have been saving for our wedding and have it currently in Santander's 'E Saver', its now paying a rather pathetic 0.10%

I could probably move it to our current account where we would get more but we like having it in a separate account.

Are there any good accounts I could move it all into?

The 3% Tesco bank option isnt available in N.Ireland.

I have an old TSB & Nationwide account that used to pay 5% but I havent had money in those for ages (transferred to e saver), those rates seem to have gone.

Any advice?

You and the partner could look again at TSB Plus sole and joint and at the Nationwide Flexdirect sole and joint?

The Flexdirect has an associated Flexregular saver.

Depending on how much money you have will dictate what accounts and how many are the best ones for you to have.

But for any future savings you definetly want to be putting that into a regular saver at 5% to get the best rates. So as suggested above some Nationwide Accounts should be the first ones you look at because they also allow £500 a month to go into a regular saver.

If the old Nationwide account that paid 5% was a Flexdirect then you won't be able to open a new one to get that rate as your old one has to have been closed for a year first, but that may not apply to a joint account.

Got 16,000 currently. Biggest pain is some of the banks only pay on balances up to a couple of thousand :/

Are you and your partner eligible for a sole each and one joint NW Flexdirect and the associated regular savers?

For a TSB plus sole each and a joint?

When we did ours, we both opened a regular saver and fed into that, the remaining went into the highest paying easy access ISA account. Maximum payments into regular saver came from the ISA, and then we paid in more into the ISA when we could.
