Just about to sign up for the membership as above, and wondered if anyone had any decent promotional codes (it asks if you have one when signing up)?
Also, any advice on airmiles, how to go about getting them, signing up to different deals (BA Credit Card, airmiles website...etc), also appreciated.

Sorry goneagain, can't help. But if you find one please post it here as I'm also signing up to BA EC this week.

If you are both going to do alot of flying or fly in a premium cabin a few times in a year then it may be worth investing an i BA Amex card to trigger a free 241 voucher. You have to spend either 10k, 15k or 20k on the card, dependant on which one you get, there is a charge for the 10k and 15k card of, i think, £120 and £60 respectively.
You have to you use your BA miles when using the voucher so NO part cash part miles, has to be all miles. So if you are going to get enough miles in the year then get one of the cards and then you will get the voucher to be used the following year.
We have recieved our voucher a month ago and are going to use it for 2 return tickets in Club World to China, and all it will cost us are the taxes. We have been collecting BA Miles for about 5 years though and are not regular fliers.
Definately check out Flyertalk though and go to BA.com and search for Amex and companion voucher.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0 -
