BW Excel Letter

I had an invoice sent to me as the NTK for a ticket my vehicle had whilst parked 'allegedly' at the infamous peel centre. I appealed to no avail (IPC) and after various correspondence I've been sent a letter from BW Legal.
The letter states I failed to make payment or appeal within 28 days. I appealed within that timeframe. They are demanding payment in full within 16 days of the date of the letter (I'm not going to pay this i wasn't the driver) They will take it up with the client etc.
More spurious bullshine about CCJ etc
Do I acknowledge this litter (yes it's just littering my desk) on their portal or commence sending them the appeal I made?

BTW I believe from readign other items that as the letter is signed by a pc as bw legal not a real person it's in breach of the rules regarding solicitors letters?

The letter can be ignored - it's a debt collecting attempt, all part of the "debt collector stage"

I thought so I'm about to leave the country for a few weeks didn't want a shed load of !!!! on my return

You can't be sure you won't get any court correspondence - they have 6 years to commence legal action.


So if you are going to be away for a long time, can someone let you know about any such correspondence?


You only get 14 days initially to reply to the court (easily extended by you to 28)

it wont "go away"

there are plenty of templates on here you can use if its an LBC as the topic has come up scores of times , if not humdreds of times (and over on pepipoo too)

I'm away and back quite a bit so If they send other items i'll see within a few days.

It's already over 14 months since so i guess they'll keep up the harassment ! I will go all the way with a constructed defence and won't pay.

They will start a court claim, they are in a feeding frenzy at the moment. Read other BW Legal Excel threads, such as Lamilad's that he just won, to get the hang of what you will be put through to see this trash off.
