install aerial socket

We have no aerial sockets anywhere in our new house and just an aerial lead running down the side of the house through the bottom of the window into the main living room
Is there a way to install a socket without pulling up floors, digging into walls etc? Im thinking no but wanted to double check
Cheers

Well you can always drill a hole through to the outside wall and then put a socket on the inside. Will be neater and tidy than a flylead through the window frame.
Anything else would depend on the layout of your house, might be tricky or might be easy.
If there is an old cable you can always try to replace it by pull it through with the new cable taped to the end.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
If you do drill a hole from the outside, remember to drill it at a slight angle.
You don't want rain running down it, into the house or cavity.0 -
If you don't want to chisel out the wall for a box, then just drill straight through the wall (you'll obviously need a long bit!)... feed the cable through, put plenty of sealant round the outside hole and just use someone like this to tidy up the inside...

That's all mine is like in my lounge, just make sure you have a decent amount of cable on the inside in case you wan't to move you're TV a bit - you don't want it tight.0
