Plex sideloaded onto Now TV box-still working good for you?

Hi folks,

I have the plex app sideloaded onto a few of the older NOW tv boxes and up to recently worked a treat from my pc.

Just noticed that its now beginning to freeze on the NOW boxes, though reinstalling the server on the pc has only made a slight improvement.

The Plex app that I sideloaded onto the NOW boxes must at least be a few years old, don't know if there is any later version that is available if anyone knows?

I know that Sky have updated the GUI on the NOW boxes don't know if that has a bearing on things.

Any advice appreciated.

I have this installed on a box I gave my sister when I got Roku3.

Are you using Rarflix by any chance?

That is what I installed, although with Roku3 I have both the official Plex client and the Rarflix version

I will ask my sister, my ex still uses one too as far as I remember.

Such a cool solution and for £10 for NowTv it is hard to complain.

You can get up to 4 per household so I would grab another to mess about on or they are on ebay
