Not really sure which board to post this on but this is probably the best one..
Basically I live in my house and my girlfriend is moving in with me.
At her house she has Sky TV in her mothers name, we are wanting to move the Sky TV to my house and put it in my name.
I rang Sky and they said they can't install boxes from another house in another name.
Would I be able to move it under her mothers name, get it installed by Sky and then change the name with no costs?
(not wanting to pay for new boxes, install etc)
Anyone have any advice?
The house I am in does have a Sky dish up.
The Sky at the girlfriends house is Sky+ with one multi-room box.

I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

Yeah - if you're a new customer, log in to www.quidco.com and sign up for a new Sky system online, you'll get £110 cashback!
Or do the recommend a friend thingy above for free Sky+.
Don't bother with changing names and things... as long as you want Sky for at least 12 months (because of 'new customer tie-in'), you're better off joining all over again and taking advantage of their special deals.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
