Rotfl @ dirty protest :rotfl::rotfl:
Arthur is very good around the grandkids. Emma (3) can practically drag him around the house and not a whimper from him. I pick him up and he's away like a rocket :rotfl:
She's tormenting the life out of him right now and he's staying put. Not once has he scrabbed her, my arm was shredded for months :rotfl:
We are so tempted to get another kitten. The rescue centre has a litter of 14 week olds plus a lovely 5 month old male tabby. I think I will go and meet them tomorrow .....0 -

Ooooo don't tempt me, it may lead to a divorce or death in our house.
Unfortunately hubby is allergic to animals and asthmatic (we got Cheddar as he was a feral stray kitten that needed a home urgently).
Hubby has since suffered a bout of pneumonia which has left him with a permanent lung condition. Consultant stated the cat didn't cause the problem but may exacerbate it and recommended we got rid of the cat. Hubby wouldn't hear of it, soft git.Kate short for Bob.

I love Cheddar as a name for a cat, well done for coming up with that one.

I don't worry about cat hair too much, my own falls out more then he casts :eek:
Tbh he's pretty good at only lying on his blanket when on the sofa and the one blanket when in the hot press ( as above)
We do comb him at least weekly using a fine tooth comb. He's pretty good about being groomed as that's dreamies time
I've also got a Miele cat and dog which is fantastic for hair ( mine included) and we have sticky rollers for clothes if we have picked up any hairs
Oh here's Jessica rabbit0 -

The way he harrasses cats until they lash out for the benefit of the shot showing his scratches is ridiculous. There's a cameraman, sound man and just as likely more strangers in the flat/the same room as where the cat is already hiding, and then he lumbers in and goes and bothers animals which already have massive issues? And he doesn't like cats being allowed out of the house?
Ugh. Not that I'd be daft enough to want a TV 'expert' as I'm perfectly capable of teaching my animals to behave properly in the first place (I don't have biting and scratching pets - except for the psychotic hamster, but that wasn't mine to begin with, we only had it because the Idiot Cat brought it into the kitchen in the first place), but if somebody went stressing out my animals like that, just for a 'look how brave I am' shot, I'd go for them.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
