Electoral Roll Address

Hi, all credit applications I've made in the past have been denied, and I wasn't sure why until now.
I found out about clearscore and signed up. I found out that I'm not on the electoral roll at my current address. I thought this was weird as I voted in the referendum, so I phone my local council. They confirmed I was on the electoral roll but not at the exact address I said I was living at.
All along I've been saying I live at 24 x Street.
Turns out I'm on the electoral roll at 23/24 x Street, the house used to be back to back long before I was born.
What is the best way to go about remedying this situation? My credit rating is extremely low due to this and being denied credit, and I'm now worried about if I'll be able to get a mortgage/loan in the future because my credit rating has dropped so low.
Any help would be massively appreciated.

Ask your council to correct the ER.
You need to fix it, but ignore the credit rating.0
