Well... I would have been watching the other thread on NR and bought 18,520 shares and made £3,706 in one afternoon!

Brilliant but how much have your lost in one afternoon by following the same high risk strategy.

you are best sticking with deposit based accounts unless you are really a high risk investor.
    Quite.

The OP is clearly not a speculator and dunstonh's comment is spot on.

PS From site: "Nearly four out of 10 adults in some parts of England cannot read or write properly or do simple sums according to a Basic Skills Agency's report in May 2000." - no wonder advertisers and politicians are so successfull in their "art" :)

And of the other eight out of ten, four are average and five are above average.

  • Gotta be a bit mad or someone who likes risk and hassle to go into BTL nowadays. 5% after tax with no capital risk in Icesave, or hassle and risk all round and far more work with BTL, its a no brainer to me.

LOL, how about .... only £9.99, well who in their right mind would pay £10 !!
  • Or even £5,743.60 by today...

I bought 30,300, now standing with a profit of £8,480... I need them to go to £4 each to make £71,210 pure profit and then I can get that car I'm after :)
