Spam on Voicemail

We've started getting 'You have won a...' voicemail messages, but as we're on Pay as you Go it costs 21p a time when we pick them up. Is there anything we can do other than switch off voicemail?

They cant halt texts, but you can register a mobile for calls. Other than that, I could only suggest turning voice mail off - which in itself can create a problem.....0 -
i never switch my voicemail on if i have to pay for it.. if its off they cant leave a message and if its important they will ring back..Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
