You should be able to get a decent discount on a Jetta, they have never sold that well, compared with the Golf or the Passat.
So stand firm, and haggle until the salesman is worn out, go for the lot ££££ discount, 12 mths tax, mats/flaps, uprated headunit. Warrenty, get whatever you can.
