Best switch site...for ...

I have tonight managed to look at a couple of switch sites
ukpower (?)
uswitch

I want to look just for gas and then just for electric, and then maybe both.

I also want to be able to select a filter for tarrifs with "No Standing Charge" (SC)

I also want to see the unit price and standing charge rate for each result.

What I found so far was.

It is not possible for either of these websites to say at the start "I am only interested in Gas". Both of them ask you to enter your supplier/tariff for gas and electric and useage for both.

On the search results I found that Uswitch had an option for gas only, and seemed to display results for gas only.

UKpower had a very similar layout to Uswitch (as though they are both owned by the same parent company), however when selecting "gas only" in the results, .... the results still included electric charges in the results.

Neither site was very easy to see unit rate / SC
i.e. it was not displayed as part of the results information. you have to do a few more click on each one to find it.

On UKpower on the results that said "we cannot help you to switch to this supplier" it was impossible to find the unit/SC information... i.e. the "more info" link that you see on Uswitch on these results was not there.


Is there a switch site that allows you to say at the outset that
"I am only interested in gas"?

Is there a switch site that allows you to filter for "No Standing Charge"?

Is there a switch site that allows you to see the unit/SC price in the search results page without having to click further?

I think the CEC will give you what you are seeking.

I am interested, why are you searching for "no standing charge" only? Do you spend a lot of time away from the property?
