Amazon Kindle for pc not working..?

Hi everyone

I've downloaded the kindle for pc from amazon a couple of times onto my pc, but it's still not working. It always worked before. I bought a kindle book off amazon last night and then attempted to read it, but can't. Not sure if something happened during the purchase of the book to cause this.

I can read the book on my phone but it's not the same, lol.

Can anyone suggest anything? Has it happened to anyone else?

What version is the Kindle program on the PC?

Can you access any other books from your Amazon account or is it just the 1 book?

Ah...I tried another book and it worked.....

Didn't think to try that because it kept telling me 'kindle not working' but it is for a different book. Thanks for that at least...

Ok, so there's only one other book there that I need to read for coursework and annoyingly it's now saying 'please register your device before opening this content.' ?? This is a book I was able to read before.

Been going round in circles, nothing seems to be working. Anyone else had this problem?

Go through the Registry programme again. It will probably right itself.

Was it a freebie book?

As it works on your phone, maybe just a glitch. Try logging out and back in again.

If that fails try a fresh install.
