Currys Pc World

Its Xmas day and low and behold my dishwasher stopped working, oh no i actually av to wash up for the first time in years. Poor me.
That wasnt the problem i can deal with washing up.
I purchased a new one on New Years eve or so i thought.
I had been saving up loyalty points with my credit card and redeemed them for currys vouchers £360 to be exact whilst putting my order through with currys i encountered a problem with one of the vouchers so i phoned the know how customer service.
Anyway to cut a long story short i eventually put the order through but i didnt get a confirmation email saying when it would be delivered. So i phoned currys on the 2nd January to be told that the orignanal person i spoke to on new years eve had cancelled it by mistake and i should get my vouchers back within 3 to 5 working days , after numerous phone calls later im still waiting for my vouchers back. Is ther any advice anyone can give me. I keep getting fobbed off with the currys know how team.

  • Write them a letter advising of a deadline for return if your vouchers reminding them that it should have been within 14days.
  • Thanks for your advice,
I will have to seek some legal advice soon,
Apparently head office have been dealing with it for about 6 weeks and now it has gone to group loss whoever that is. I feel im veing told lies all the time as it keeps getting passed from one person to the next. I will certainly not be buying anything else from them

You have been given the advice you require. Write a Letter Before Action giving them a deadline to return/refund and remind them they have already used up the 14 days they had. Be prepared to follow up your LBA with action, e.g. a small claims court.
