Which doable job has a supervisor that does not breathe over your shoulder?

Which kind of job has an immediate line manager that does not check whether you are constantly busy or not? It has to be an easy to do job as well.

You sound like you need constant supervision, certainly not employee of the month.

I have had many jobs and in only one did I have such a supervisor. I soon stopped his antics with a well-timed comment.

  • It's an impossible question to answer as every organisation is different and each person in that organisation is different.

The only job really that doesn't have a supervisor breathing down your neck is one where you're the boss.

Why on earth would you not want to be busy? I'm sure sitting zoning out at work has a lot to do with increase in mental health, personally I like the days where the hours fly by, you arrive and before you know it's home time.

I've worked in quiet easy going places - the business with no customers folds at around 12 months if not much before.

That said you may get left alone by a *much younger* boss - but you do have to act responsibly.

In what way does their answer not meet your criteria? Why isn't it a doable job?
