Celebrity Carry On Barging Competition -Additional Terms and Conditions

1) The prize comprises:

1. Standard class return rail travel for four from UK mainland station nearest to the prize winner’s home address to Wrexham/Chirk, unless the winner’s home address is in Northern Ireland, in which case, the prize will include return economy class flights for four and transfers to Chirk Marina;
2. Return private transfers for four between Wrexham/Chirk train station and Chirk Marina;
3. Seven (7) nights’ accommodation for four on Dinas Bran (Castle), a 4 berth canal boat (2 doubles or 1 double and 2 singles) – more information on the boat here (subject to availability);
4. Luxury wicker hamper filled with a selection of Welsh food and drinks;
5. A boat fuel allowance of £150; and
6. £500 spending money.

2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
3) The prize must be taken between September and October 2017 or between March and June 2018, excluding all UK Bank Holidays (30 March 2018, 2 April 2018, 7 & 28 May 2018). Hire starts on a Wednesday or Saturday only.
4) Two adults minimum as one is required to tackle the locks on the canal, while the other person drives the boat. Children of all ages are allowed on board and the winner will be given full instruction on how to drive the boat and operate locks/swing bridges prior to departure.
5) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by at least two adults aged 18 or over to check into the boat.
6) The prize excludes transfers between the winner’s home and the train station/airport, drinks, additional meals, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
7) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability.
8) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize. The prize is non-transferrable.
9) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
10) A cheque for the spending money and fuel allowance included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
