Good Afternoon,

Had a chilly start here but really quite nice now with sun shining away.
We took a little walk to visit my parents and called into Tesco as well.
Having chicken supreme for dinner. Haven't had a turkey yet so couldn't make a turkey curry!
Enjoying the peace and quiet now. had a few cashback claims etc arrive (Amazon vouchers) Amazon account is building up nicely as won vouchers too.

Hope your car isn't serious indie. They are a pain when something goes wrong.

Your prize sounds great FF. Well done and enjoy.

Yesterday DH and I went up to the play A Christmas Carol in a popup theatre in Leicester Square. It was a big tent. The play was a staging of a radio show based in the 1940s on Dickens story. It was well acted and there were some funny bits. So it was a good afternoon out. We were lucky as it stopped raining as we went. We did pop into Monsoon on Victoria street and I bought a few bits for granddaughters in the sale including a small glitzy hardback for GD in Scotland who will be six in Jan.

We had DD1 and GS here last night as she has gone to work today and a number of stations are closed in London and she wanted to get in early. Don't know whats happening but GS hasn't woken up yet so we are enjoying peace and quiet. He's six and told us the other day, when I saw something on TV on Netflix and we don't have Netflix that theres a free trial on Virgin Media. Well he said there is on our TV. So a budding MSE in the making. Can hear him now.

Morning, well done on the win ff. Glad you enjoyed the pop up theatre leanfun.It was freezing here earlier with everything white. I dropped the car off earlier and just had a phone call, They have found the problem and are fixing it. Luckily i have the money put aside for things like this as it's nearly £300. But cheaper than a new car. I will have to win some money comps now...lol. I won a hobgoblin hat this morning. Wonder what that is going to look like...lol.

Morning all,

Bucketing down here and you've guessed it , set to continue.
Hope everyone is ok and not snowed in or anything.
Been cheering myself up with booking a few little breaks. Booked a few nights away for next week so hope snow doesn't come back for then.
Was bit disappointed with Village Hotel sale. Have only booked 2 nights with them so far although trying to decide if we want to go to the Portsmouth one in September.
Some £29 Premier Inn offers for Jan and Feb if anyone looking for night or two away.
