Hi Wingo thanks. I'm not a tea drinker either.

Hope you are having a good break Sylvia despite lake of wifi.
It's odd but HD's Irish Dad went to a South Shields to live for a number of years before going back to Ireland and then coming to England.0 -

Want to get grass cut, go shopping and do some housework. Don't think i will get it all done but will give it a good try..lol. I had a surprise in the post yesterday a Docraft competition prize turned up. So must look up who posted the comp. Hope you all have a lucky day.0

Morning. It's been very warm here yesterday and again so far today.
Well the play The Mentor was very disappointing last night. The four actors played their parts well but the plot left a lot to be desired.
Last night we heard tragic news from Madeira, which has been covered by our national papers. A very large tree fell where a vast crowd were going to start a religious procession. 13 people died and lots were injured. Last year the festival was cancelled due to huge fires in the area. Tragic for all those concerned and their families. DH and I twice walked past this exact spot on pur holiday and we watched people preparing for the feast.0
