No luck with remote so will just gave to wait for new one. Not seen that site either alfie. had a quick look some interesting reading on it. Remember DS passing out parade it was really warm and Navy predicted to the minute lightning was on its way, so it was held in a huge shed instead of outside. Just had an e/mail from Amazon Remote has been dispatched so hopefully it will arrive tomorrow or Friday

Had a really heavy shower about an hour ago but seems to have dried up again now.

Shame your remote still isn't working rose. Must admit I thought it was a wind up when I first saw it until I read the comments. DH loves looking up Teletext so he was desperate to try it when our remote stopped working and couldn't believe it when it started working again.

Got really dark here so I expect shower you had shiels has headed up my way. Just been speaking to neighbour who has a florist shop. She has been nominated for the Scottish Wedding Awards 2017. I'm so pleased for her she does some beautifull arrangements and bouquets

Morning peeps it is seagull o'clock. I have put the kettle on and I am going to catch up on the news. See what is going on in the world. Might have to go out later so might as well get things done around the house now while I can be bothered lol. Hope I find you all well.

Morning, Good news about your neighbour Rose,hope she wins it. We have had rain for 2 days, drizzling now but thought the storms the other night would clear the air but no such luck. Still very warm and humid. I am off to work soon, hope you all have a lucky day.

Hope you're all ok.

The temperature here feels so much more comfortable
now - not muggy - it has a lovely fresh feel about
it.

We had more rain through the night but it's looking
bright and breezy at the mo. Got friends bringing round
their patio plants today for me to look after (temporarily)
while they're in between moving houses. No pressure
then! :eek:

We had some downpours through the night but looking nice enough now.
Got some washing to hang out so hopefully will stay like that.
Been working hard in the garden though, trying to get shrubs cut down far enough so that we can just trim them easily with the new hedge trimmer. It is pretty heavy so DH doesn't want to have to lift it too high.
It is a bit scary TBH! Got huge pile of cuttings though some of them pretty big. Our bin is full and neighbours one going to be filled later. They are at their holiday home in France so we have use of their bin.
Got my Quidco winnings up to £29.50 but getting bored of it now. Been playing it when I would normally play Candy Crush but it isn't as much fun!
