How to remove cup stains on a table

I have a dark wood Sheesham coffee table but its got a few blank cup stains. Does anyone know how I could remove them? Thanks.

I've never tried it myself, but my mother always swore by Brasso!! Rub it on, wipe it off.
You might want to just try it on a small area first.No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0 -

I did the warm iron and cloth trick on a coffee table. It really was magic.0

I too would try the warm iron and cloth bit first it also worked for me or even on some blotting paper as that sometimes works0

Sadly nothing has worked as they are dark stains so probably need to buy a new table.0

Try rubbing in some ash if you can get some, mixed with some olive oil or rubbing with a walnut.0

How about DIY french polishing?
My dad showed me how when I was a teen and it worked v well on some shelves. It was mostly sanding ,linseed oil between the sandings and then button polish rubbed on with a wad of cotton wool wrapped in clean cotton material.
It might be worth a try. You could always paint it if it is a total disaster.0
