Aviva Renewal frustrating

I have my car insurance with Aviva and the renewal is very competitive so I decided to stay with them.
As I had a non fault accident in my wifes car last year I rang them to update my details as the "My Aviva" login doesn't allow you to update online.
I told them about the accident and also asked whether or not my wife should declare the accident as a claim as it was on her insurance which they said she didn't (other companies insist she does).
Anyway they said they would update my details for renewal within 30 minutes.
Despite 2 further phone calls the online details still show me as having zero claims and yet the telephone renewal(details correct) is £20 dearer as there is an admin fee.
They tell me that it will be fine to renew online but I don't trust them.
Should I have an incident in the next 12 months I just envisage grief!
I was going to put this in the rants forum but thought it may get better responses on here.

That's the problem with phone calls unless you can record them. Why don't you email them to confirm what was said and agreed? Link below and take a screen shot before you send if you really want to.

I have actually run a new quote through topcashback. Ended up getting a new policy and saved £50 as long as the cashback comes through. :j If it doesn't it's still the same price and it's cut down the grief:rotfl:0

You just need to make your the current policy isn't on auto-renew and, if it is, that you cancel the auto-renew in time.0
