Win 24...No Win!

I subscribed to 'Win 24' (through Ideal World) in 2011 for 24 months with various bonus offers (daily chance to win £1,000,000 etc). It claimed to enter me into 175 competitions a month. They were keen that I should let them know 'every time' I won something...every time, I thought, implying that I might indeed win something if not some things! During this time I can reveal that I won.......absolutely nothing, not a bean! I didn't change my address or contact details at any stage.

Now, either I'm a very unlucky person or there is something amiss with this company and the reviewers that claim to be winning regulalry. I don't know but it was all very dissapointing and I'm just left feeling a bit stupid really.

Has anyone else had experience of this? Would love to know :j Thank you!

I've never used Win24, but I don't trust any company which charges you to enter competitions on your behalf.
First, you have no way of knowing if any competitions actually have been entered. Secondly, using a third party such as Win24, or them entering on your behalf contravenes the terms and conditions of many competitions.
Also "175 competitions a month" is not very much, which might help explain why you haven't won so far. Many users of the comps section on this MSE forum would enter that amount (and often much more) in a day or a week! Most compers have noticed in the past few years that more people are entering competitions and that winning prizes has become much less frequent.
I don't have any advice really except to forget about it and use this site to enter competitions when you have time. Good luck!

We did a few blog posts a few years back on Win24 and other automated entry services. At times some of these automated services were putting 25,000 plus entries into competitions - so your chances of winning were quite remote if you signed up with such a service.

When they take your money they don't actually tell you how many other subscribers are being entered into their chosen 175 comps a month. The big winners were the auto entry services charging £20 or so a month to people who think they're getting a good deal.

I'm amazed they're still going to be fair, but it's money for old rope and people willing to pay I guess. Hopefully comp promoters are wise to the antics by now - but I suspect many aren't and are just happy to see 000s of entries from people.

175 comps a month is a tiny amount. A lot here do more than that a day. I don't think its surprising you haven't won because of the small amount they're entering people for. There's never any guarantee of a win whether you pay to enter or not. If you want to win more you need to enter more but this time do it for free.

175 C2Ws about 20 minutes............Easy money.

2 year ago we did a challenge where 50 of us tried to enter 1 million (yes you read that right (1,000,000) competitions in a year, we did it easy :T

Some folks are entering 1,000+ competitions per DAY!!!

I dread to think how many I enter... and I only enter for ones I want. i'd say over 1000 a day for sure, mag dailies I do... don't do c2w though.... theres 100's of RC/GLEAM and I enter all the newly listed comps.

you could enter 200 comps in an hour easy

I bopped through 1,200 C2Ws whilst watching TV last night, I reckon it took 2 hours that was clicking anything and everything though (something I don't normally do, so I could win something very odd :eek: ) and clicking my counter after each one!!!

I miss my laptop, I used to sit and do C2W's while I was watching TV but i've just got a desktop at the mo. I should try doing them on my tab

I am on a desk top the telly is on the wall in front of me

I tried on my iPad but soon gave up, I suppose those who use them daily will fly through the C2Ws but I am just used to my desk top
