iPhone Charging cable

Can anyone recommend a decent charging/transfer cable for iPad and iPhone?
Tried the £1shop but they only last a short period. Is there a decent compatible cable please.

The anker ones work well and don't seem to throw hissy fits about non-compatibility like the cheaper ones.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I use these from 7day shop. They are £5.69 but claim to be genuine and I have no reason to suspect they aren't. They last much longer than the cheapies.

I orderered the Syncwire cable life time gauarantee and it worked for 2 hours and wouldn't charge my iPad or my neighbours iPad so Amazon refunded me and I then bought the Amazon iPad charger but got the 6ft length one. Bought the Amazon one as my neighbour is using 3 of them in her house and been using them for ages.

  • I've bought two IWANTIT cables from Curry's,

One short one to carry around in my laptop bag and one 3m long for home, both work great,

3m one was only about £12

I found the original ones are too short that's why the end bit of wire that goes into iPad/iPhone breaks.

For your safe bet, it is better to get MFi certified cables. Apple offers a certified license program against 3rd party products. You would fine some MFI certified cables at Amazon.

If you want to get a cheap deal and you can wait up to 1 month, you can buy from aliexpress (china's Amazon ?) I bought a MaGeek 1.8m at 6.5 pound, MaGeek quality is really good from aliexpress.

Get decent cable (and charger) to protect your mobile phone! (Sorry I can not include a direct link as a new user ..)

P.S. I really do not like to Apple exclusive license scheme as you actually paid more for Apple License, but it would be helpful to get reliable products as well.

UPDATE ON MaGeek MFI cable 1.8m, my partner has used this cable happily, but when she dropped iPhone from her bed during charging with MaGeek cable, the Metal connection was broken, it seems that the cable part is very durable, but the Metal connector is not solid enough.. It is a pity as it seems very durable.

I have found another quality issue at Amazon, It might be a production quality problem..
