Insurer's Legal expenses helpline

I have home insurance with LV, including legal expenses. It says this also gives me access to their legal helpline for advice about anything. I'd like to ring up but I'm worried that just speaking to them, could somehow end up being marked as a claim. Does anyone know if this is a possibility?

I'm hoping it's completely separate from actually making a claim but I'm a bit paranoid about insurers in general, and that they'll use any excuse to increase my premiums etc.

What about the premium? Could it affect that?

I'd prefer it wasn't even registered that I called, but then I think what's the point in paying for this if I'm too scared to use it.

The legal cover is totally separate from the home insurance, yes it's bought as part the package but trust me when I say LV won't load for a "claim" under the legal cover.
