Money Moral Dilemma: Should I donate my cashback to charity?

Cashback is conditional and can be declined and take many months to be received. You are volunteering your time and may be using your own device to browse the internet and power supply. You have been savvy enough to use cashback sites and I assume you also try to get good deals for the charity. Also you will be using your card, so may need to put the money in the account in hand or submit receipts for payment.
If they wanted they could get their paid staff to use the authorised card and register it for cashback and get them to search for items and spend the money. That would probably cost more as they are being paid for their time than the cashback you receive. If you feel guilty about keeping the cashback you can donate it back but if not it is reasonable that you could keep it.0 -
If it bothers you, then stop using the cashback site for charity purchases. Then there is no dilemma.0

You are already contributing to the charity by being a volunteer. There are no rules about donations, give as much or as little as you want to.0
