How closely do you listen to the safety speeches on airplanes before take off.
On one american airline recently the following was heard.
"In case of a sudden drop in cabin pressure oxygen masks like this one will automatically drop. Attatch with the elastic strap provided. If you are travelling with a child attend to your own mask first then the child--if travelling with more than one child, pick your favourite!!
