New Kitchen with Building Work

I am going to be replacing my kitchen soon and part of the plan is to knock through from the kitchen into the utility room (which is currently only accessible by leaving the house and entering it through another door) to bring the utility into the house. So building work required on top of installation of a new kitchen, refurbishment of utility room, moving of the gas boiler, and the usual lighting, plastering, plumbing, painting etc.

I am not sure where to start to get an idea of costs. Should I just get quotes from the kitchen supplier and ask if they can do the building work aswell; or go to a builder and get a quote and ask if he can install the kitchen. Ideally I would like one person to do all the work rather than both a builder and the kitchen installer being involved.

Thanks

    I'd start with the builder.

If you want them to supply and/or fit the kitchen great, otherwise a kitchen company can come in once things are at a certain point.

Obviously you'll want to design the kitchen layouts before you start work, though!
