Solar Panels - Worth it?

Hi,
Just a quick question. What a people’s opinions on solar panels? Are there any existing deals and how much are we looking at paying and the time taken to earn back this money.
Is this pointless doing if planning on moving in the future or will house value go up when selling by having these panels?
