Milton Keynes - Court Date!

Mrs Generali is suing our ex-landlady and the hearing is in Milton Keynes. Any thoughts of a decent place to stay?

We'll have 2 toddlers with us (aged 1 and 2). Mrs Generali will need a good night's sleep so connected rooms would be better than them in with us.

Any thoughts?

How about you sleep with the kids - then Mrs Generali might have a chance of a good nights sleep. :o

Seriously though - what about the Travelodge deals...

    Worth a stab?

    Good Luck.

I have been to atleast 10 different Travelodge's and not one was crappy. It's good for the money and rooms are clean. I've seen plenty of families staying there also so if the mrs. needs a good night sleep have the kids sleep with you and let her sleep alone :D OR

You could also try a Express by Holiday Inn. I know they have rooms that include a sofa bed in the room if you want to go for something like that. Again, these are usually nice rooms as well (staying at an Express this weekend for my trip to London).
Here's the link for the Express in M.K

A quiet hotel would be favourite. A pool would be nice.

We've stayed in Novotels in France. Clean - good quality, mainly business type hotel. Rooms were adequate, good en suite, basic extras TV, phone - but no kettle where we were.

We stayed in a Novotel in NEwcastle and thought it was pretty grotty for the money we paid...over £100 a night for woodchip wallpaper.

tripadvisor puts Holiday Inn express at number two- we have stayed at a couple of these HIEs and were very pleased- they were spotlessly clean, and although a basic layout were great value for money.

Good Luck with the court thing too!

Milton Keynes has a number of new hotels you may be able to get a deal in including Jurys Inn and Ramada Encore. In addition there is the Holiday Inn Express and a Travel Lodge. All of these are in walking distance of the MK courts.

If you want to be a bit outside of MK, consider the !!!! in Stony Stratford, the Hilton in Kents Hill (can get some good deals here otherwise it is expensive), Calverton Lodge in Stony Stratford (B & B) or the Travelodge in Old Stratford. There are also a few other larger chain hotels on the outskirts but all within about a 10 minute drive of Milton Keynes. There are a couple on Willen Lake which has a childs play area for the kids as well.
