Bathroom refurbishment

We've bought our house about 2 years ago (built 1960s). The previous owner had done some cheap and cheerful renovations that need to be redone. Our main focus is the bathroom, it's about as cheap as they come, and consequently falling apart. I'm not sure what to adress first
-water pressure isn't great, so there is a water pump that -once switched on - gets high pressure everywhere in the house. We would like just the shower (and potentially the kitchen tap) to be high pressure
- boiler is 12 years old. Working well, but wouldn't be opposed to replacing if it makes sense
- bathroom has a really odd shape, with a (generous) shower cubicle sized alcove from the bedroom protruding into it. We only have a bath, and would love a separate shower as well which would easily fit if we could get rid of that weird alcove (not needed for space in the bedroom)
- Radiators are 1960s original, so could use being updated (working ok though, although the bathroom one is the worst one in the house)
How do I adresss this? Bathroom fitter, plumber, builder, whom do I need? Definitely not diy, no time and no talent :(

You probably need a builder as there will be many trades involved - tillers, plumbers, electricians, plasterers etc. Ask around for recommendations from people who have has work done. If you identify your location, someone maybe able to recommend someone.

A proper bathroom installer will take care of everything, just go to trusted tradesmen or similar. Cheap it wont be, however.

It does sound like you might want to upgrade the heating system - boiler and radiators - either before or during the bathroom fit. There's no point spending on pumps etc if the boiler isn't up to it and might die at some point.

I'd find a good plumber you can trust, preferably one who can arrange for any other tradesmen you need. Our plumber would do all of that and manage everything. They should also be able to advise on the best order to do things in, if you don't want to do it all at once. We were lucky to find him but if friends, neighbours and family can give recommendations that's probably the best way.

Thanks everybody! We are in the southeast (near Guildford)if anybody has recommendations.
I don't mind paying a bit more for quality - it's the only thing that needs fixing ( and not even urgently). We've had an extensive survey done, and the house is in great shape.
