HB and back pay

Hi

If i receive some back pay from a backdated payrise, does it just affect tgat werjs HB and goung forward or is the claim for the year recalculated?

    It should be attributed to the periods of time of the claim that the pay refers to.

    So if you got £100 HB in January, but not actually earned an extra £50 in January, it should be used against the January claim.

    So as i thought.

    If i receice 6 month back pay e.g. august w2016 to january 2017,then the claim for thar period is reevaluated.
