I would steer clear of Apple, why? My experience we had an Apple Ipad 2 worked fine until we upgraded to IOS past 7 and it slowed down became very sluggish it's now in land fill and has been replaced by a Samsung galaxy."Imagination is more Important than knowledge"0

I think a lot more info is required before anyone can give you an answer. Things like budget, what you want to use it for, a rough idea of screen size do you want one that you can expand the memory and that's just for starters.
Without some basic info like that everyone is just giving their own thoughts that could be way off what you need/afford0 -

Hardly a reason to avoid Apple, or did you expect IT hardware to last forever? If so it would be a first.
Your Galaxy will slow down if a few years time.0
