I'm in the process of buying a house (built 2007) with a conservatory built in November 2013, there is an existing 10 year warranty with the conservatory, however the company want £210.00 to transfer it into our name, this seems very expensive to probably delete/ insert on a computer spreadsheet! Any advice?

Advice? Either pay up or do without. I don't think you have any other alternative. You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose.0

Inspect the conservaory carefully and if having a survey done, speak to the surveyor.
If it's in good nick don't bother with the warranty.
It probobly has loads of exclusions anyway - have you read it?0

Thanks for the advice, current owners not overly forthcoming with details on conservatory including T & Cs of warranty, I'm concluding that we should thoroughly inspect and form an opinion on whether to bother from there!0
