Some people are perfect ;-) But assuming you are a good, experienced driver - why would you score any less. More of a tick than an achievement surely? Is the real test that easy, too?
50/50, 8min with a distraction.

Depends what you think the theory test is achieving I guess.
Not everyone passes first time - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/news/10025871/I-failed-the-theory-test.html
Remember this aspect used to be a handful of questions asked at random by the examiner at the end of the driving test (often cynics claim these were easy ones if they wanted to pass you and hard if they needed a fail to balance stats).I am just thinking out loud - nothing I say should be relied upon!

You can find out the monthly pass/fail statistics for each driving test centre here

Interesting - pass rate for last year is 49%.
Even more interesting - females outdo males by some margin.;)I am just thinking out loud - nothing I say should be relied upon!

A few tricky questions there.. Left hand lane of the motorway is used for what... Undertaking middle lane hoggers of course.
Maximum speed towing a trailer on the motorway. They have that wrong, its actually 90mph. As proven every school holiday on the M5.
Hazard lights on the motorway, to warn the AUDI tailgating that your going to brake test them.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
When I was 'studying' for my Theory Test I used the CD-ROMs from Driving Test Success. I found that the Hazard Perception Disc was partially good as they had lots of clips covering lots of different situations eg day time/night time, urban locations/rural locations. They also gave detailed information at the end of a 'test' as to what the hazard was in each clip as will as how well one had scored. On the double hazard clip both hazards were named and scored separately, so one could tell if a 5/10 was a 3 and 2 or a 5 and 0. They also allowed one in 'practise mode' to choose the type of situations to work on. So if someone was getting poor scores on urban clips they could work more on those. I have a belief that most people fail because they don't know what type of hazard to look for (as proved by the numpty/journalist* in ThinkingOutLoud's post) or they click too soon.
The following link from Driving Test Success gives some good advice on the Hazard Perception Test.

This reminded me of this nice tale of woe for a hogger - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/road-and-rail-transport/11690110/Motorist-becomes-first-convicted-of-hogging-motorway-middle-lane.htmlforgotmyname wrote: »Left hand lane of the motorway is used for what... But sadly, not many of the many have been done by the few - http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/cars/article-3792498/Just-135-fines-issued-middle-lane-hogging.htmlI am just thinking out loud - nothing I say should be relied upon!
