Started and iva November 2010 which I payed off in 2013, dropped of my report in November last year along with all my defaults have today received my mortgage offer from Halifax with no issues at all

Well done - Can I ask did you go for help 2 buy or was it a standard mortgage? if so how much deposit etc? Also, did you disclose the IVA? I'm in a similar situation as I'm 3 years post trust deed and have everything going for me except the trust deed (WHICH IS A BIG THING). Have deposit, great salary, clean credit file, 0% credit utilisation, but the criteria I've been reading just scares me. Petrified to apply0

Was a standard mortgage, 60ltv and I did declare past iva.
Have no credit what so ever which help plus only borrowed half the amount we could do0
