Britannia PCN

Hi,
I have just got home to a lovely letter from Britannia asking for £60.
I admit that i did enter the carpark for 13 mins as shown, the reason is that im a driving instructor and i took a pupil into the carpark as this is a carpark she would use for work.
There is no barriers and i didnt see a sign when we were in there.
Should i appeal or pay?
thanks

You should read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES and then appeal using the BPA template in blue you will find there.
Nobody here will tell you to pay. Do not reveal who was driving, not even on here. So, do not say "I parked ..." anywhere that the parking scammers can see and take a screen grab. That's a clue for you to edit your post and a habit to get into.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Thanks,
I have read the Newbies section and had seen the template. Should i send this as a letter or use Britannia's website to appeal?0 -

Use whatever method the scammers tell you to use. Watch out for online appeal pages with drop down boxes that default to Driver. Some scammers have dodgy options that don't allow you to select keeper only, so post if that is the case.
If you have to post, then do it from a Post Office and obtain a free proof of posting. You need to allow an extra two days for that, so don't leave it too late.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Email Britannia or use their online page. Do not post it . Do not talk about who was driving or what happened, talk about the signs being woeful/non-existent and the fact they can't hold registered keepers liable.
Last time I appealed a Britannia one for someone the other month, it was very boring because they gave up first try. You can use the blue writing template for them.
If they persist like a rash, Britannia are easy to beat at POPLA with the usual templates shown in post #3 of the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
