NatWest

Is natwest linked to any other banks?

Have scanned internet just can't seem to confirm. Basically wondered if linked to

HSBC, Barclaycard, tesco, virgin or MNBA

My concern here is Natwest is linked to Tesco and therefore Tesco have the right to offset if you switch to wages paid into Natwest?

NatWest is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group but has a separate banking licence to the other main parts of the group (RBS and Ulster banks). It is not linked to any of the banks you mention.

It was formed as a joint venture between rbs, the ultimate owners of natwest, and tesco, but tesco bought out rbs nearly ten years ago.

So there shouldn't be any right of offset, however that doesn't sound like a very comforting situation to be in.

If you are in financial trouble then probably best to try and resolve than ignore, if for example you move wages away form your main account with an overdraft the banks can make the overdraft immediately repayable. This can move onto a default and then cause issues down the line, post some make details and you may get a more specific response.
