Step 1: Uninstall anything even slightly Norton related from your computer
Step 2: Install a decent AV product (such as bitdefender free , or MSE/Defender)
Step 3: Using a green marker, draw norton ticks in the appropriate places on the monitor

Am on Safari, it's enabled as it has the tick box at the toolbar at top of page and if you click on it it shows whatever site you are on is safe...... it went funny after I went on Firefox and it said something abt an extension.........

    Seems to be ok now.............

Well the 2nd day I had this mac, totally new to it, I downloaded an update for Flash and ended up with a malware, freaked me out:( had to get John Lewis to get rid of it and then I brought Norton even though I had problems with it on windows. Had been ok till today but seems to be ok now.
