If it's mounted as a drive, it should appear in the left pane, under "Computer" (along with all your other drives).

If it doesn't appear, then hold down Win+R (the Windows key and "r" key together) to bring up the run box, type diskmgmt.msc and press enter. The Disk Management applet should open showing all the storage devices attached to your PC. Is the MP3 player listed here?

If it appears, but does not have a drive letter associated, right-click on it, select "Change Drive Letter and Paths...", click "Add", select the first option and choose a letter from the pull-down menu, then click OK. The MP3 player will then appear as a mounted drive in Windows Explorer, etc.
  • Hi guys-tried all the above-tried on laptop & another PC -same issue. Hardware fault I feel....so back to Argos with it. Thanks for trying!
