Neff Extractor Hood E-nr D8901 NO GB - Fan not working

I've had some issues with this Fan Extractor Hood. Model E-nr D8901 NO GB. I found there was a quick blow fuse in the control unit (on/off & fan speed selector) after replacing the fuse the lights
are now working again but the fan does not work. Any ideas?

If you know enough about electrics to avoid giving yourself a dangerous shock, then I guess putting a multimeter across the fan motor terminals would be the first step, just to see if any power is being sent to the fan when you flick the switch.
Also check the fan blades spin easily, not jammed.0
