Hi,looking for any views on this one:I have a Toyota Rav 4 2.0 litre.
Its 22 years old,mileage 68k.
My comprehensive insurance will be renewing at £400 for the next year.
I have now got a quote for around £300,again fully comprehensive.
The car is mechanically sound and is used 3-4 times a week.
I have business cover included at the moment. All based on 6000 m per year.
I am now thinking of third party fire and theft cover?
Anyone out there have any suggestions?
Thanks.

Why are you thinking that way?? If you think it will be cheaper, are you happy to self insure it's full value if you are to blame for any claim?
Also do dummy quotes for TPFT and see what difference there is in the premium (it's likely to cost more than comprehensive costs!)0 -
I'd be amazed if tpft is cheaper than fully comp. It's the policy of a wide boy and priced accordingly.0

£300 comprehensive? My guess is £327.53 Third party, fire & theft.
£468.75 Third party only.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
