I had to do one of those identity interviews. It was horrible, I felt like I was lying all the way through it.

I couldn't answer half of the questions.
Like how long have your parents been married and when is their anniversary... My answer ... I don't know its their day and longer than I have been born.

So no, I doubt that there's any rhyme or reason behind it whatsoever.

They wouldn't have been checked because you were going for an identity interview

I've signed loads over the years and never had anyone contact me to check anything - I'm feeling a little left out !
