Manchester Hotel needed for 13th Oct. x 2 rooms

Hi everyone

Can anyone help me please
I am looking for a cheapish (but must be clean!!) hotel in Manchester for Saturday 13th October. Just for one night but need 2 rooms as the in-laws are coming too! Somewhere close to either the Trafford centre or Old Trafford

You'll be very lucky to get anywhere cheap now, it's the Rugby League Grand Final at Old Trafford that night (not sure if you knew or are going ?) which means 76,000 rugby league fans from all over the North will have booked most rooms about six months ago........good luck

Hi, have you looked at the Travelodge website ? I just did a quick check and their Manchester Airport one has two double and/or family rooms @ £51 per room that night. HTH

I know it wouldn't be easy to find somewhere free but anyway I hope that'll help!

I very much doubt it, RL is a northern sport.Most will be travelling home after the game.

Whatever you do, do NOT stay at the Hotel International opposite Picadilly station.. nice hotel, nicely run, but has a nightclub under the hotel which makes the whole place vibrate until 4am each morning!
