Lowering my health insurance premium

I am currently paying around £120 a month for BUPA health insurance. I am a generally healthy 31 year old male. However, I have had scans and physio on the policy in the last two years for an ankle sprain (no surgery required). I would guess the total cost to them was under £2000.
It looks like I should be paying about £50 (probably by taking a few fancy bits off the policy, which is fine). However, I assume if I go with anyone else, they won't insure the ankle (right?). Am I able to renegotiate with BUPA and keep the ankle insured, or will they exclude that on any renegotiation of the policy?
Also, if I renegotiate and my ankle plays up again, will there be a time limit before I can have it seen again? Thanks!

If you go elsewhere it's likely you'll be re-underwritten and your ankle will be excluded, maybe not permanently but you'll probably end up on a moratorium which means you can't claim for it for a few years and would then only be covered if you've had some time 'trouble free'.
Best thing to do is try and renegotiate with your current insurer. A larger excess, less out-patient cover, removing various options like mental health cover etc could all reduce your premiums and they should be able to find you something that matches the cover you need at a better price.0
